A great solution for keeping your extension cords handy and untangled are Command brand
cord bundlers. Like other 3M products, the adhesive won't damage surfaces, holds strongly and removes cleanly. I'm currently using one on my garage wall to hold a large extension cord. It makes plugging in the shop vac to vacuum out the cars one step simpler. It keeps the cord off the ground and we always know where it is when we need it.
